West Plains, MO – A medical emergency caused a one vehicle accident on the morning of Sunday, July 25 2021 at 9 a.m. The incident occurred at the intersection of Highway 14 and County Road 4410 near West Plains. A 2008 Ford F350 driven by Stephen Wright, 57 of West Plains, traveled off the left side of the roadway and through a barbed wire fence. Wright was suffering from a medical emergency which caused the accident and was in serious condition when paramedics arrived. Wright was taken to Ozarks Healthcare by Howell County Ambulance.
