PLATO, Mo. — A cashier at a convenience store was injured Friday morning after a driver crashed into the building she was working at.
57-year-old Trula Steinbach was injured when the driver of a sedan had a medical event and crashed into Walts Grocery off of Route 17 at Route 32 in Roby.

Steinbach was taken from the scene of the 8 am accident to Mercy hospital in Springfield by ambulance. The driver was uninjured in the accident. There was no word on his condition as of 12 pm Friday.
