The West Plains Zizzers played their first game in the Class 4 District Playoffs against the Neosho Wildcats. The first quarter was explosive as both teams put numbers on the scoreboard. The Zizzers got the first touchdown, followed by the Wildcats only touchdown three minutes later. West Plains got the last touchdown of the quarter, ending the 1st quarter 13 to 6. The second quarter was all about defense and flags as the West Plains Zizzers received numerous flags and a strong Neosho defense. The first half ended 13 to 6 with the Zizzers in the lead.
The second half started strong with a Zizzer touchdown 3 minutes into the third quarter. The fourth quarter started rocky for West Plains as the Zizzers had a fumble and turnover to the Neosho Wildcats. Two plays later, the Zizzers would intercept a Wildcat pass and push for one more touchdown to end the game with a win for the West Plains Zizzers.
Again, the West Plains Zizzers win against the Neosho Wildcats, 27 to 6.
