GAINESVILLE, Mo. — Ozark County Sheriff Darrin Reed has announced that he plans to run for the Missouri House of Representatives.
Reed announced on social media last week that he plans to run for 155th District seat currently occupied by Rep. Karla Eslinger. Eslinger recently announced a bid for the 33rd District Senate seat.

Reed has been sheriff in Ozark County since 2012. His second term as sheriff ends in 2020.
