Program for hungry Missourians could face cuts

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Monday is the deadline for public comments on the Trump administration’s latest move to change the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as food stamps. The proposal would cut benefits for an estimated 7.2 million low-income Americans.
