WEST PLAINS, Mo. — Two people suffered minor injuries after a two-vehicle accident near West Plains on Tuesday evening.
A report from the Highway Patrol states the accident happened around 6:48 pm on Highway 17 south of West Plains, when the eastbound vehicle driven by 25-year-old Devin Hicks failed to yield and struck a southbound vehicle driven by 44-year-old Dawn Barrett of West Plains.

Barrett and a 14-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries and were both taken to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains. Hicks was uninjured, according to the report.
