Two injured in Friday accident near West Plains

WEST PLAINS, Mo. — Two people were injured, one of them seriously, after a one-vehicle accident near West Plains.

A report from the Highway Patrol states the accident happened around 3 pm Friday, December 20 on County Road 9090 east of West Plains when the southbound vehicle driven by 18-year-old Alexander Bendon of West Plains ran off-road and hit a tree.

Bendon suffered minor injuries while a passenger, 18-year-old Ezra Hudson of West Plains, was seriously injured. Bendon was taken to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains by ambulance while Hudson was flown to Cox South hospital in Springfield by Air Evac.
