Grizzlies Fall To Raiders At Home

It was a special night Saturday evening at the West Plains Civic Center as the Grizzlies took on the Raiders from Three Rivers. On a night that saw Tom Barr get inducted into the Grizzlies Hall of Fame, it was an intense and fast-paced game throughout as Alex Peterson led all scorers with 25 points. Horton and Petion each checked in with 15 points each while Jones had 10 for the Grizzlies, but it wasn’t enough as they’d fall 89-83. The Raiders were led by Fonda and Hodges who both had 15 and Hardimon had 13 and Sprenkel hit 11 to top the Grizzlies at home. The Grizzlies fall to 0-6 in the new year and 7-15 overall, but showed heart and hustle on both ends of the court, coming up just short. The Grizzlies play again this coming Wednesday at State Fair Community College.
