A public auction for some woodwork and other materials removed from the interior of the Parkside House in the Butler Children’s Park will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 4, in the Exhibit Hall of the West Plains Civic Center. Interested bidders can preview the items beginning at 8 am Tuesday morning at the Civic Center.
Available at the auction will be some pocket and pine doors, the main stairway, the fireplace mantle, and all the wood trim from those items. Also available will be some sinks and radiators from the house.

The proceeds from the auction will go to the City. Once the auction is complete, the City will remove the house to make way for the installation of a splash pad and all-inclusive playground at the park.
