The Zizzers played the Pirates from Branson in their opening round game of the Liberator Tournament. It was the #4 seed(Branson) going up against the #5 seed(West Plains) who played only six days earlier in which the Zizzers won. This game was tight throughout as Jones would lead the Pirates and all scorers with 25 points in the game. Points came at a premium as at the half the Zizzers were down 17-20. It wasn’t until early in the 4th quarter where the Zizzers would take control back as Tommy Keller would have 7 points in the quarter. Taylor Harrison had 8, Connor Rackley had 6 including 2 big free throws at the end of the came while Marcak had 11 points. West Plains would get a two point lead thanks to Rackley’s free throws and not look back. The Zizzers will move on to play tomorrow night at 7:00 p.m. in the Liberator Tournament.
