Wednesday night the Grizzlies played host to the Roadrunners from State Fair CC. It was Sophomore night as the Grizzlies took the court. Sadaar Calhoun led all scorers with 22 points as the Grizzlies would get a big, early lead as at the half it was 46-30 MSU West Plains. It got a bit tighter in the second half as Franklin for the Roadrunners put up 11 points in the half for a total of 19 points. Blanden for State Fair also chipped in with 13. However it was Sophomore’s Alex Peterson(17 points) and Taevon Horton (14 points) who were able to get the lead stretched out and the Grizzlies didn’t look back as they took down the Roadrunners for the second time this season as the final score was 83-72. The Grizzlies play next on the road against Mineral Area College before their home finale against Moberly which will also serve as Homecoming.
