An Arkansas man died Monday following a head-on collision south of Gainesville.
A pickup driven by 68-year-old Patricia Hobbs crossed the centerline and struck a pickup driven by 59-year-old Michael Clark.
Clark, of Flippin, Ark., was transported to a Mtn. Home, Ark., hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Hobb, of Jordan, Ark., was seriously injured and taken to a Mtn. Home, Ark., hospital.
The accident happened at 3:50 p.m. on Mo. Route 5, six miles south of Gainesville.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the accident is the fourth fatality accident in Troop G in 2020, compared to two at this time last year.
