NFL: Tom Brady will Reportedly Sign with Tampa Bay Today

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the expected home for quarterback Tom Brady, barring any unforeseen circumstances.

Yesterday, Brady said goodbye to the New England Patriots in a series of Instagram posts, thanking fans and the city for an amazing 20-year run.

He wrote: ”Although my football journey will take place elsewhere, I appreciate everything that we have achieved and am grateful for our incredible TEAM accomplishments.”

42-year-old Brady leaves New England with six Super Bowl rings and 41 playoff starts since 2001.

Brady going to Tampa will officially end Jameis Winston’s reign as the Buccaneer’s starting quarterback.   Insiders say Brady’s deal will be worth around $30 million a year.

Brady—widely considered the greatest quarterback in league history—turns 43 in August and has said he wants to play until he is at least 45

Free agency officially begins at 4pm today, and that’s when Brady is expected to sign his new deal.
