The Gibson Avenue entrance to the shopping center at the corner of Highway 63 and Gibson Avenue is closed from now until further notice for sewer line installation.
City of West Plains crews are working together with Stewart Construction to install a new sewer line in the shopping center. The following businesses and their customers are affected: U.S. Cellular, Vision Express, and Abrams Chiropractic. Those customers will need to park along the east side of Chen’s Garden entering from Kentucky Avenue and walk along the sidewalk to each business.
Motorists are asked to use extreme caution when traveling in the area because crews will be coming in and out of the shopping center with equipment.
“We apologize for the issue and will notify the public when the Gibson Avenue entrance will be open,” said city officials.
