Next week the Stay at Home order is scheduled to be lifted on May 3rd. We will plan to resume/begin our League Play for all groups next week.

Cat & Dog League Tuesday May 5th 5:30pm

Ladies League Wednesday May 6th 5:30pm

Men’s League Thursday May 7th 5:30pm

For League Play we will still be following the recommended safety Social Distancing guidelines. We will also be continuing to play the golf course with the Safety Measures put in place several weeks ago. For those that need a reminder of those rules they are listed here:

We will continue to follow PGA recommended safety guidelines for play due to COVID-19 we ask our members to take extra precautions while being out on the golf course.

1.   Please putt with the flagstick in do not remove it. Some styrofoam inserts are being placed in all the cups to prevent the ball from going all the way down into the hole.

2.   Also the sand bunker rakes have been removed from play as well.

3.   While on the golf course do remember to keep good spacing from other individuals at all times. 1 Person Maximum per golf cart (Immediate family may ride together). Golf carts will still be unavailable for rent at this time.

4.   At the recommendation of the PGA the DRIVING RANGE will remain CLOSED to prevent the passing of any germs from baskets or balls that are being touched by multiple users at this time.

All of our March & April Golf Events were postponed. When we have a better idea when we will be able to go back to having bigger events I will post a revised Golf Events Schedule.

Events Being Postponed At This Time Include:

Zizzer Scramble

Chili Classic 1 Man Scramble

TaylorMade & Callaway Demo Days

A couple of friendly rules for our golf course/reminders now that members are out playing golf again.

1.   Men are required to wear a collard shirt when practicing or playing at the WPCC.

2.   When driving your golf carts utilize a 90* rule using the cart paths as much as possible. For all Par 3’s try and keep your golf cart on the cart path for entire hole. Keep golf carts on the cart paths around all tee boxes and greens. Please avoid all of the wet areas with your golf cart to avoid making tire marks/ruts on the golf course the.

3.   Please throw all your trash in the trash cans available on the golf course.

4.   Please fix your ball marks on the greens.

5.   If your group has people waiting behind you to play please move to the side and allow the group to play through.

6.   Bringing outside alcohol onto to the property is not permitted. All alcohol must be purchased from the West Plains Country Club.
