MLB Makes 60-Game Offer To Players

Major League Baseball and the players’ union are close on a deal that would see a 60-game season which would start in mid-July.

The latest proposal by the league and owners includes full prorated pay and was sent to the MLB Players Association for a vote.

Under the proposal, the season would begin July 19th with the 60-games being played over 70-days.  It also includes an expanded playoff format.
