The Fulton County Junior Livestock Show online entries is now open. Shows are scheduled for July 23 for Beef and Dairy Cattle and July 25 for Swine and Sheep and Goats, pending approval from the Arkansas Dept. of Health and Arkansas Livestock & Poultry Commission. All COVID-19 directives from Governor Hutchinson will be observed.
All entries must be made online no later than July 10th. Entry fees will be $10 per entry with the exception of showmanship. Entry fees must be paid online with a debit or credit card. Check the Fulton County Fair website for all rules and health regulations. Exhibitors must present the necessary health papers at check-in. Scrapie tags are required for goats. Livestock committee members must have all entries in by the deadline so they can assign stall space to meet the 6 ft. distancing guideline.
Cash premiums will be paid from entry fees and exhibitors will receive added money from business and individual donations. Donations may be sent to Fulton County Junior Livestock Show, Post Office Box 910, Salem AR 72576.
Exhibitors will be able to sell their animals at a Junior Livestock Sale at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 25th. Only animals exhibited in the shows will be eligible to sell at the sale. Persons wishing to purchase 4-H poultry chain chicks should contact Cory Tyler at the Fulton County Extension Office.
