Jimmie Johnson wasn’t able to race in yesterday’s Brickyard 400 in Indianapolis because he tested positive for COVID-19.
Johnson was tested after finding out Friday morning that his wife, Chandra, who’d had allergy-like symptoms, had tested positive.
Johnson won’t be permitted back until his doctor clears him, he’s had two negative tests 24 hours apart, and he remains symptom-free.
Johnson doesn’t have any symptoms so far.
