Sharon Mae Newman 82, of Eminence, Missouri departed this life for her Heavenly home on Sunday, July 12, 2020. She was born on April 21, 1938 in Millville, Missouri, the daughter of Joe and Muriel (Van Pelt) Davis.
Sharon was united in marriage to James Newman on August 17, 1968, and to this union four children were born.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James; parents, Joe and Muriel Davis; and daughter, Suzanne Pitz; sister, Mary Anne Hogan; brother, Van Davis.
Those she leaves behind are her daughter, Jennifer Julien of Eminence, MO; two sons, David Newman of Hobart, IN and John Newman of Olathe, KS; five grandchildren, Jimmy Julien, Danny Newman, Kail Kayligh Newman, Conrad Pitz and Terry Mae Pitz; and two great grandchildren Layla Julien and Payton Julien.
Sharon was a long-time member of the United Methodist Church in Eminence. She was involved with the art council and was very gifted with flowers. Sharon was an incredible seamstress and made beautiful wedding gowns, and was an exceptional gardener. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
