Howell Co. Health Dept. reports five more COVID-19 cases

The Howell County Health Department reports that five more county residents have now tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the year-to-date total to 68. Of these cases 14 are considered to be active cases, on isolation. Currently, 3 of the current cases are hospitalized.
Case number 64 is isolating at their residents in West Plains. The case is a contact to a previously identified case. Contact tracing of the case indicates there has been no significant exposure to the general public with this case. Known contacts to the case have been notified by HCHD.
Case number 65 resides in the West Plains area. The patient has been hospitalized for treatment. The infection is the result of community spread from an unknown case. Contact tracing identifies the following locations as potential exposure sites:

People visiting these locations during the dates and times identified are at LOW risk of contracting COVID-19, but should monitor themselves for symptoms. Case number 66 has been on isolation at their home in West Plains. The case is the result of community spread. Known contacts to the case have been notified. Exposure to the public with this case is not a concern.
Case number 67 resides in the Mountain View area. The patient is isolating at home following public health guidance. The source of the infection has been ruled as community spread. Known contacts to the case have been notified. Exposures to the general public have not been identified with this case.
Case number 68, a Koshkonong resident has been hospitalized for treatment. The infection is the result of community spread from an unknown case. Contacts to the case have been notified by the health department. Exposures the general public have not been identified with this case.
