NBA: ESPN Radio Host Dan Le Batard Apologizes For Social Media Poll About Jonathan Isaac’s Knee Injury

ESPN’s Dan Le Batard apologized for a tasteless poll question regarding Orlando Magic forward Jonathan Isaac, who tore the ACL in his left knee two-days after standing for the national anthem while his teammates kneeled.

The Le Batard radio show Twitter account posted this question: “#poll Is it funny the guy who refused to kneel immediately blew out his knee?”

He later tweeted an apology writing, “We apologize for this poll question. I said on the front and back end of the on-air conversation that I didn’t think it was funny. Regardless of the context, we missed the mark. We took the tweet down when we realized our mistake in how we posed the question to the audience.”
