On Saturday evening(August 8), a phone call was placed to the Shannon County Sheriff’s Office from a male caller stating that a man was laying in the road (E highway) and that the caller’s wife was in the process of doing CPR. First Responders, EMS, Shannon County Authorities and other agencies were contacted and requested to be dispatched.
A Shannon County Deputy arrived on scene and found Allan Brewer of Eminence, Missouri, with multiple gunshot wounds, still under attempt of reviving by EMS Technicians. The witnesses gave a description of the vehicle that had left the scene quickly, upon their arrival. This vehicle description and timeframe matched descriptors given by witnesses along the route of travel. Witnesses came to the Sheriff’s Office to file written statements as to their observance of activity.
Missouri State Highway Patrol/DDCC Investigators were called in to Assist, due to the expanse and nature of the event. The Coroner, along with EMS technicians announced time of death at 9:12pm.
After pursuing the evidence obtained, two suspects were taken into Custody on Sunday evening, August 9th, 2020, anticipating charges of 2nd Degree Murder being filed today, with the Shannon County Prosecuting Attorney, Jodie Brumble.
