The 14 teams of the Big Ten conference have voted in favor of scrapping this fall’s college football season.
University presidents voted 12-2 in favor of ending fall sports in the conference, with only Nebraska and Iowa voting to play.
The conference plans to make an official announcement today.

The question the schools are trying to answer: will a spring season will be possible?
According to sources, the PAC 12 is also in favor of canceling fall sports.
One PAC 12 source said some coaches and staffs have already been informed. Their plan would be to push their fall sports back to Spring 2021.
A PAC 12 announcement could be coming today as well.
Dr. Amesh Adalja, a senior scholar at the Johns Hopkins University Center for Health Security, no longer believes a fall football season is possible during the pandemic.
