Liberty Eagles win Shannon Co. 7th and 8th grade volleyball tournaments

The annual Shannon County 7^th and 8^th grade volleyball tournament was held on Saturday, September 19 with Liberty High School hosting the tournament. The 7^th and 8^th grade Liberty Lady Eagles won the championship.

The 7^th grade Lady Eagles defeated Willow Springs 25-23, 25-12 and Thayer 25-16, 25-10 in pool play. During semi-finals they defeated Summersville 25-18, 25-22 and then defeated Winona in the championship game 16-25, 25-18, 15-11.

7th Grade Lady Eagles – Front row, Kinsey Shoup, Jade Acklin, Emma Faulkner, Kelsey Goldsmith and Jordyn Counterman. Back row, Jadeyn Melby, Bently Lawson, Kelbie Smith, Ayden Johnson, Cheyanna Brooks and Coach Annie Roy.

The 8^th grade Lady Eagles defeated Willow Springs 25-13, 25-16 and Thayer 25-11, 25-16 in pool play. During semi-finals the Lady Eagles defeated Thayer 26-24, 25-16 and then defeated Summersville for the championship 25-21, 26-24.
