Liberty Eagles win Shannon Co. 7th and 8th grade volleyball tournaments

The annual Shannon County 7th and 8th grade volleyball tournament was held on Saturday, September 19 with Liberty High School hosting the tournament. The 7th and 8th grade Liberty Lady Eagles won the championship.

The 7th grade Lady Eagles defeated Willow Springs 25-23, 25-12 and Thayer 25-16, 25-10 in pool play. During semi-finals they defeated Summersville 25-18, 25-22 and then defeated Winona in the championship game 16-25, 25-18, 15-11.

7th Grade Lady Eagles – Front row, Kinsey Shoup, Jade Acklin, Emma Faulkner, Kelsey Goldsmith and Jordyn Counterman. Back row, Jadeyn Melby, Bently Lawson, Kelbie Smith, Ayden Johnson, Cheyanna Brooks and Coach Annie Roy.

The 8th grade Lady Eagles defeated Willow Springs 25-13, 25-16 and Thayer 25-11, 25-16 in pool play. During semi-finals the Lady Eagles defeated Thayer 26-24, 25-16 and then defeated Summersville for the championship 25-21, 26-24.

8th Grade Lady Eagles – Front row, Savannah Holdt, Kaylie Wagner and Aliyah Kramer. Back row, Rylin Miley, Bryleigh Wallace, Korie Lind, Adalyn Holden and Coach Annie Roy.

The 7th and 8th grade Lady Eagles are coached by Annie Roy.
