Jacob Ackerson, a graduate of the West Plains High School class of 2020, received the Hutchens/SGA Centennial Leaders Scholarship. The scholarship was designed to provide recipients the opportunity to develop leadership skills to excel on campus at Missouri State University and in the recipient’s local communities.
The scholarship provides recipients $2,500 of financial aid per year. The scholarship is funded by a donation from the Hutchens family and a matching contribution by the students at Missouri State University.
