Howell County daily COVID-19 update: 17 new cases

The Howell County Health Department reports that an additional 17 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year-to-date total number of cases to 1,682. Currently, there are 203 known active cases in Howell County. Of these 203, four are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. The county is now reporting 40 year-to-date COVID-19 deaths.

Of the new cases; 15 reside in West Plains, one lives in Willow Springs, and one lives in Pomona. Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine.
