Roy Allen Norris was born on May 25, 1960, in Mountain View, Missouri to Orville and Rosetta (Haynes) Norris. He passed away on October 20, 2020.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Rosetta; grandparents, John and Sarah Norris and Otis and Mandy Haynes; and brother-in-law, Bob Lowery.
He is survived by his sister, Elvina Lowery; brother, Troy Norris (Carleen); nieces and nephews, Dustin (Jennifer) Haynes, Christopher (Scottie) Haynes, Julianna (Audey) Yardley, Ryan (Tiffany) Norris, Smokey Norris (Dennis), Landen, Brinson, Kayden, Stetson, Oaklee and Everlee Haynes, Payton and Paxton Rodgers, Kaleb and Kasen Norris, Dawson and Aiden Sullivan; his best friend, Jerry Weaver; longtime girlfriend, Paula Cline; her children, Jenny Martin, Chonda Counts, Thomas Martin (Angie) and grandchildren that he claimed as his own, Elizabeth Reed, Liam Reed, Mercedes Blunkall, Leann Counts, Taylor Davis, William Blunkall, TJ, and Jackson Martin; and too many cousins to list without forgetting someone!
Roy worked most of his life in the log woods. He has cut many thousand feet of logs in his lifetime. He was good at what he did and genuinely enjoyed his work. Roy was good-hearted, fun-loving, and lived life to the fullest. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

The family will host a memorial service on Saturday, November 7, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Horner Cemetery with Dustin Haynes officiating. All of Roy’s family and friends are welcome to attend. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
