West Plains Christmas Tree lighting Wednesday, Nov. 25

A brief ceremony to commemorate the annual lighting of the West Plains Christmas Tree, which is located on the northeast corner of the Courthouse Lawn, will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, November 25. The 20-foot tree, complete with LED lights, will be installed by City of West Plains’ utility crews and was funded in 2019 by the City in partnership with the West Plains Downtown Revitalization organization. In attendance will be Mayor Jack Pahlmann, representatives from the City of West Plains, and members of West Plains Downtown Revitalization.

The annual Downtown in December Christmas Festival will not be held this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
