Mtn. View Chamber holds monthly meeting

The Mountain View Chamber of Commerce held their monthly luncheon at the Mountain View Community Center earlier this week and welcomed Ricky Baker, Director of the Mountain View Family Youth Center, as their guest speaker.

Baker recently moved to the area from Hawaii and took on the roll of director. The Mountain View Family Youth Center (MVFYC) features Skate nights on Friday and Saturday nights, banquet and party rooms for events, as well as a fully equipped gym with 24 hour access to members. The MVFYC also provides Child Care services from 3-6 Monday through Friday, where they have activities and provide a healthy snack for just $5 per day. Priority Pet Care

During the luncheon DeDe Conner was awarded Business of the Month for the Dragonfly Bed and Breakfast in Mountain View. The Dragonfly Bed and Breakfast will be doing a live nativity scene this Saturday night from 5-7, stop by 1101 West 4th street in Mountain View to check it out.

This Saturday at 6:00 will be the Mountain View Christmas Tree Lighting at the pavilion downtown.  Come out and join the festivities.

The Mountain View Christmas Parade will take place on December 19th, line up is at 5:00 the parade starts at 6:00.  This years theme is Have a Merry Star Spangled Christmas with Red, White and Blue Christmas Lights encouraged.
