Hass-Darr Hall at Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP) was recently featured in Metal Architecture magazine. The article highlights the transformation of the former post office on Garfield Avenue into a multi-use student-centered facility.
The article also discusses the inspiration for the building’s design by Dake-Wells Architecture in Springfield and the architects’ use of metal for the exterior walls. The design for Hass-Darr Hall earned Dake-Wells a Design Excellence Citation from the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Kansas City in October 2019.
