Helen Louise (Luttrell) Gregory, age 86, of Willow Springs went home to join the angel choir Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at home surrounded by her family. Helen was born December 2, 1934 at home in Willow Springs to Raymond A. and Lillie Mae (Kinder) Luttrell.
Helen graduated Willow Springs High School with the class of 1953. She married Donald (Jack) Gregory on December 13, 1953 and to this union 3 sons were born.
Helen was a homemaker and a volunteer at Willow Care Nursing Home for many years. Helen was a Christian, a member of the Church of God of Willow Springs for many years where she was a Sunday School teacher. Helen sang for many years with a gospel quartet with her husband, Jack, James & Carolyn Gregory at different functions in and throughout Southern Missouri. She loved her family and enjoyed making many crafts, gardening, canning, and caring for her flowers.
Helen was preceded in death by her son Mark Allen Gregory, parents Raymond & Lillie, her mother-in-law and father-in-law Ena (Trowbridge) and Gerald Gregory, brothers-in-law James Gregory, Marvin Gregory, Herbert Gregory, Larry Gregory, and Louis Denton.
Helen is survived by her husband of 67 years, Donald Jack Gregory of the family home, sons Stephen Gregory of Denison Texas, Keith and wife Lalah Gregory of Willow Springs, grandsons Brandon and wife Bobbi of Willow Springs, Cody and fiancé, Sarah of Mountain View, great-grandchildren Kehnemund, Stephen Joseph, Alorra, Kamea and Daniel, cousin Michael and wife Helen Ash of DeSoto Kansas, sisters-in-law Carolyn Gregory of Willow Springs Missouri , Patricia Kurtz of Pomona Missouri, Cathy Gregory of Marionville Missouri, Katy Gregory of Bakersfield California, Juanita Denton of Buffalo Missouri, Geraldine Gregory of Clinton Missouri, brothers-in-law Ivan and wife Sherri Gregory of Independence Missouri, Mike Gregory of Clinton Missouri, Kenneth Gregory of La Salle Colorado and a massive host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
