COLUMBIA, S.C. – Following a series triumph over Georgia, No. 25 Mizzou Volleyball is set to continue their win streak as they continue the spring season this weekend South Carolina. The Tigers will begin play in Columbia (S.C.) with first serve slated for 2 p.m. CT on Friday and 11 a.m. CT on Saturday.
Both contests inside the Carolina Volleyball Center will broadcast live digitally on SEC Network + via WatchESPN.

Series Snapshot vs. UGA
- Mizzou leads the all-time series over South Carolina, 8-3
- Mizzou and South Carolina last met a season ago (Nov. 17, 2019) with the Tigers taking down the Gamecocks in a swift 3-set thriller.
- During their games in Mid-Missouri, the Tigers hold a 6-0 record over South Carolina. In South Carolina, the Gamecocks hold a 3-2 series lead over Missouri, with the Tigers hoping to tie it up this weekend.
Mizzou Notables Continuing Spring Play
- The Tigers concluded their fall 2020 season on a high note last November, tallying four consecutive wins over (RV) Arkansas and Ole Miss. They started this season with two big home wins and an away loss.
- With the entire NCAA Division I volleyball world continuing this week, Mizzou checked-in at No. 25 in the AVCA’s Top 25 poll for the second week in a row. This past fall campaign, the Tigers joined Texas, Kentucky, Baylor, Notre Dame and Florida as the only programs to be ranked top 10 all fall season.
- Mizzou featured one of the nation’s top offenses this past fall, as its .290 hitting percentage (fifth), 13.50 kills per set (13th) and 1.41 aces per set (19th) all placed top 20 in the country.
- Two-time AVCA All-American, senior OH Kylie Deberg, remained one of the SEC’s top offensive threats with 12.18 attacks per set, 4.50 kills per set and 5.29 points per set. Deberg leads the SEC in both kills and points.
- Transfer sophomore OH Anna Dixon continues to make an impact for Mizzou, with her 117 kills, 186.5 points, 3.70 points per set, and a hitting PCT of .270.
- Redshirt junior S Andrea Fuentes solidified her status in the fall as of the NCAA’s top setters after ranking 18th nationally in assists per set (10.16) and 23rd in total assists (325).
- Mizzou’s team hitting PCT at .262 puts the Tigers ranked 36th in the nation and 3rd in the SEC.
