West Plains Lady Zizzers defeated Willard 47-27 at Willard last night in Class 5 girl’s sectional game. The Lady Zizzers took away Willards’s strength shooting 3’s and slowing the game down the Lady Zizzers frustrated Willard all night with great defense and cashing in on their offensive positions. The (26-3) West Plains Lady Zizzers will host (18-8) Carl Junction Lady Bulldogs at 1pm Saturday at the WPCC in a quarterfinals game. Game will be broadcast on KDY 102.5 FM.

Ava Lady Bears lost to Mount Vernon last night 53-49 in class 4 girls sectional game. Ava Lady Bears had a seven point lead at the half but couldn’t hold on to it as Mount Vernon advances to the quarterfinals vs Blair Oaks Saturday at 1pm.
