The Glass Sword Cinema of West Plains, MO has scheduled multiple weekend showings (Friday 7PM, Sat. and Sun. 1, 4, and 7 PM) April 30-May 2 and May 7-9, for the movie Past Shadows starring Robert Shepherd. Shepherd was born in West Plains, MO, raised on a farm near Birch Tree, MO, and taught many students during his 6 ½ years as a teacher for Liberty School District.
Shepherd enjoyed three decades of his life in the Missouri Ozarks before leaving the area, 1973, to accept a commission as an officer in the U.S. Army. Prior to his military retirement, Shepherd followed his interest in acting and signed with agents near his home in Virginia. Shepherd and wife Marcia, plan to be in the area to greet audiences and provide a Q & A for some of the first weekend screenings of the film in West Plains. Shepherd hopes to see many friends, former students, and new acquaintances at the Glass Sword Cinema.
