Plans are in place for the annual West Plains Area Chamber of Commerce Caddyshack Classic Golf Tournament, Friday, May 7th at the West Plains Country Club Lunch will be served at 11 am and, The three-person scramble begins with a shotgun start at 12:00 p.m. For more details, or to register a 3-person scramble team, contact the Chamber office at (417) 256-4433. In Class 3 Hartville is #3 and Houston also in class 3 is #6.
Due to the recent weather conditions and the high probability of rain later today… The district softball game scheduled in Mtn. Grove vsd Liberty at 4:00 has been moved to be played in Forsyth at 4:00.
In the district site voting process there was a tie for district host. Mtn. Grove was centrally located so they won, but with the backup plan to play in Forsyth if there was poor weather since they have a turf field.
