Liberty Middle School Student Council purchases two water bottle filling stations

The Liberty Middle School Student Council worked hard this year. They held a Santa’s Workshop, held a “Crush” fundraiser for Valentine’s Day, facilitated “hat days,” sold items on a cart on Fridays, and volunteered at the Youth Center Dance to raise money throughout the year.

$1,040.60 paid for something desperately needed at the school. STUCO purchased TWO water bottle filling attachments for the fountain in the cafeteria and for the fountain between the eighth grade hall.

The fountain can fill water much faster than without the attachments. Students will no longer have to wait in such lengthy lines or ask teachers to leave to fill up their bottles as often to avoid being late. To help make the kids feel special the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting to celebrate all the students had accomplished in saving for these which will help save students time in-between classes!
