Marsha LuAnn (Hartley) Rowden, 65, of Theodosia, Missouri passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mtn Home, AR on May 10, 2021.
Marsha was born on September 4, 1955 in Ottumwa, IA to Howard and Glendine Hartley and graduated from Ottumwa High School in 1974. On November 21, 1990. Marsha married the love of her life, Bruce Rowden of Crocker, Missouri.
Marsha was a kind and generous soul who would give you the shirt off her back if she thought you needed it and helped with fundraisers for the local fire department. She was most proud of her 8 grandchildren. She was an avid hunter and enjoyed hiking the trails on her property in Theodosia but especially loved her many motorcycle rides with Bruce and her animals. She retired from Boyd Garrison Enterprises but was a chef most of her life.
Marsha is survived by her husband of 30 years Bruce Rowden; her children, Christopher Hartely, Julie Skaar, and Heather Rowden; her brothers, Howard Jr. and Jeff Hartley; her grandchildren, Tyler Jarvis, Amanda Hartley, Tyler Griff, Brent Skaar, Maxim Skaar, Kathlene Hartely, and Dakotah Hartely; her nephew, Alex Hartley; and her many dogs and cats. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Glendine; father-in-law and mother-in-law George and June Rowden; her two brothers, Steven and Brian Hartley.
She will be laid to rest in Lutie Cemetery in Theodosia, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
