Willow Springs Bears football team will be having the first annual steak dinner and auction to raise funds for the Willow Springs Football team. The date will be Friday, August 13th at the Elementary Cafeteria. Doors will open at 6:00, dinner will be served at 6:30, and the auction will follow. There will also be a silent auction during dinner. Tickets to get in are $25. If you would like to purchase tickets, contact Jeff Lovan (417-252-1463) or Misty Pitts (417-293-4115).
Area youngsters entering grades two through eight are invited to participate in the Grizzly Basketball Camp July 6-8 at the West Plains Civic Center. The camp is being hosted by (MSU-WP) Grizzly Basketball Head Coach Jared Phay, Assistant Coach Jason Owens and members of the Grizzly Basketball team. Participants will learn basketball fundamentals for all aspects of the game during the three-day event. Campers have the option of attending one of three sessions: the morning session from 9 a.m. to noon the afternoon session from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. the all-day session from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. All sessions will be divided into groups based on the participants’ skill camps are open to all youths of every ability.
