MJFT arrests 4 people on July 2, seize meth & marijuana

Ava, MO – In the early morning hours of Friday July 2, 2021, the Ozark/Douglas Multi-jurisdiction Task Force, comprised of Officers from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Ozark County Sheriff’s Office, COMET Drug task force and Ava Police Department, served 3 search warrants in Eastern Douglas County for Illegal Narcotics.
 
As a result of this covert operation, over 300 grams of marijuana prepared for distribution and 400 grams of a liquid that tested positive for methamphetamine were seized.
 
4 subjects were taken into custody with the following charges:
Thomas Sprague age 59 of Drury was charged with 2 counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance and his bond was set at $5000 cash only.
Brianna Villa age 22 of Drury was charged with 2 counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance and his bond was set at $1500 cash only.
Amanda Johnson age 31 of Drury was charged with Possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine her bond was set at $1500 cash only.
Nathan Kidd age 37 of Drury was charged with Possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine his bond was set at $1500 cash only.
 
Over the last several months the collaborative efforts, information sharing and team training at Shield Solutions top of the line training facility, has proven to very beneficial for the Multi-jurisdiction Task Force (MJTF). It is exciting to welcome aboard Ava Police Department as a member of the Multi-jurisdiction Task Force . The MJTF is committed to combating criminal activity within their respective jurisdictions.
