West Plains, MO- A three-part Food preservation workshop will be held Tuesday August 17, 2021, 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the Howell County Extension office. The cost to participate is $50.00. The workshop will be held at the Howell County Extension Office located at 1376 Bill Virdon Blvd. West Plains, Missouri 65775. All supplies will be provided, and you will take home the items you preserve.
This workshop will incorporate, cooking tips and techniques, tips for proper food safety, storage, and sanitation. This workshop will feature hands-on instruction for canning, pickling, and preserving jams and jellies and salsa. $50.00 Payment for the class must be made no later than August 12, 2021.
