Officials with the West Plains Lions Club invite you to join membership, so you can help make a difference in the community.
Founded in 1946, the mission of the West Plains Lions Club has always been to help those in need with a strong emphasis on sight preservation. Since the club’s inception, thousands of pairs of eye glasses have been bought to assist individuals.
According to Lion’s Club Internationals website (www.lionsclubs.org), “when caring people join together, roll up their sleeves and take action to make their community better, it’s a beautiful thing – and an incredible feeling for everyone involved. That’s Lions. Being a Lion is about leading by example, building relationships and improving the world through kindness. It’s 1.4 million caring men and women serving together so they can make a lasting impact and change more lives.”
If you are looking for a club that desires to help others, consider joining the West Plains Lions Club. For more information, please contact Reta Reed at 417-293-4239.
