SB 226 among four bills vetoed in Missouri Senate

Jefferson City, MO – Missouri Governor Mike Parson has vetoed four measures including Senate Bill 226.

SB 226 could have modified the filing time for paying sales tax. Senator Andrew Koenig (R-Manchester) spoke on the veto:

Senator Steven Roberts (D-St. Louis) spoke on another piece that was left out of this years’ legislation, funding Medicaid expansion. The Medicaid expansion saw controversy that a judges’ ruling helped to clarify.

Lawmakers are hopeful that Medicaid expansion funding will be found in the supplemental budget for the current year.
