Glen was a loving and hard working man.  He worked hauling pine poles for 4 years then moved to St. Louis, MO and started at job at C.E. Power Plant as a welder.  He later went back to school and became a “Certified Pressure Welder.”  He was graded “Top Best Seamwelder” in the plant.  He always said he could weld anything except the break of day or a broken heart.  In 1985, the plant closed and moved out of state.  He and Dawna moved back to the country near Mountain View, MO.  He then went on to work for Missouri Petroleum out of St. Louis doing contract work in Texas for 14 years.  Some years later he started working at Gretta Pallet Mill for a short while then going back to what he loved the most, hauling logs for Frost Sawmill.  He continued that passion for 17 more years, even while battling cancer to beat it and survive it for 11 years.

Glen loved life, family and a good time.  He was an avid music lover and later in his life, had the privilege of going to many bluegrass shows with his wife Dawna Mae.  He never met a stranger and anyone that met him, loved him.  Glen loved his family and all the gatherings they shared.  He would help anyone that needed it, never expecting anything in return.

Glen attended church at Pilgrim’s Rest, a local community church.  He was later baptized at Bunker Hill Ranch on July 6, 2014 by Pastor Edwin Woolsey.
