Macomb, MO – An Alabama woman was involved in a motor vehicle accident with a cow early Wednesday morning near Macomb in Wright County. The accident occurred at 3:30 a.m. September 22, 2021 on Highway Y, four miles north of Macomb.
Shauna Ward, 47 of Hazlegreen, Al., was southbound in her 2012 Chevrolet Silverado when she struck a cow in the road. The Chevy suffered moderate damage. Ward was not wearing her safety device and was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment of her minor injuries.
