Stephen Whittenberg was born June 14, 1943, in West Plains, Missouri, to Graham J. Whittenberg and Norma (Williams) Whittenberg. He passed on September 14, 2021, at his residence in Seymour, Missouri.
Stephen served several years in the U.S. Army as a military medic.
He was a very smart man. He was a history buff and had a college degree in geology. He retired as a maintenance supervisor with the City of Fresno.
Stephen was a loyal friend and brother and would do anything for anybody. He was witty and had a good sense of humor.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Graham Whittenberg.
Stephen is survived by his brother, Phillip Whittenberg (Amy) of Bartlett, Tennessee.
