West Plains, MO – A Cabool man was killed in a one vehicle accident last night in Pomona. The accident occurred at 7:11 p.m. Thursday evening on US 63 in Pomona.
A 1997 Ford Explorer driven by Richard Wilmoth, 70 of Cabool, was northbound on US 63 when it ran off the east side of the roadway, overturning and ejecting Wilmoth from the vehicle. He had not been wearing a safety device.

Richard Wilmoth was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident by Howell County Coroner Tim Cherry. .
This accident was investigated by Trooper A. Falterman with the assistance of Major Sargent S. Nelson of Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop G. This makes the 19th fatality for Troop G in 2021, compared to 28 for the same period last year
