Bobby Gene Todd, age 87, son of Virgil V. Todd and Beulah (Campbell) Todd-Hart was born May 28, 1934, in Bucyrus, Missouri. He went to be with his Savior at Texas County Memorial Hospital on September 28, 2021.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army, entering the service in January 16, 1957 and was honorably discharged May 8, 1959.
He married Paulene Blair.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Paulene; his siblings Dorothy and Tommy V. Todd.
He is survived by sisters Karen Williams and Mike of Lawson, Missouri, Neva Reysack and Johnnie of Coulter, Iowa; a nephew Freddie Wilson of the home; stepdaughter Judith Huff and children of Success, Missouri; many nieces and nephews are left to grieve, Jeremy Gladden and family of Plato, Missouri, Karrie Sandfort and family of Ashland, Missouri and Robert Simonelli nephew and Godson of San Francisco, California; and special friends Bob and Misty of Plato.
His much-loved church family of Success Baptist Church will greatly miss him.
Bobby was well known for his fiddle playing. It was a gift he so enjoyed and sharing with his church and family was always a highlight of gatherings.
He is now in heaven to hunt and fish with his dad and Brother Tommy.
He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
