West Plains, MO – St. Paul Lutheran Church in West Plains delights in all God’s creations and invites the community to bring their pet(s) to a ‘Blessing of the Animals’ ceremony at 10 a.m. Saturday October 9th in the church parking lot. A color photo certificate of owner and pet can be ordered, free of charge.
The West Plains Regional Animal Shelter Administrator has been invited and plans to bring some of their adoptable pets with her to be blessed.
Donations for the following items can be brought to the church:
- Dry Kitten chow
- Flea medication
- Canned Dog Food – NOT DRY
- Canned Cat Food – NOT DRY
- Cat Litter
- Paper Towels

The church is located at 291 N. Kentucky Avenue, behind Bradford Pharmacy, in West Plains.
All pets must be on a leash or in a cage.
