West Plains, MO – Fire Departments from across the region will gather and compete in West Plains on October 9, 2021 in a Fire Engine Rally.
The Rally will kick off with a Fire Engine Parade at 9 a.m. beginning on Kissinger Street in West Plains. The route will head down Porter Wagoner Blvd, turn on to West Main Street, then onto Preacher Roe Blvd. and down to the Southern Hills Shopping Center.

The Fire Engine Competition will be held at the Southern Hills Parking Lot where crews of firefighters will compete in five events:
- 5-man alarm
- Tug-o-War
- Bucket Brigade
- Truck Pulls
- Reverse Hose Lay
There will be concessions for sale and vendors with merchandise to purchase. Adults, children, and everyone is invited to come out and cheer for your local firefighters in this friendly competition.
