Mo. Medicaid Expansion topic of talk for state senators

The expansion of Medicaid has been a hot button issue for many years, with lawmakers divided on to expand or not. When Medicaid Expansion was passed by Missouri voters in August of 2020, the question of how to fund the expansion was put to this year’s legislative session, and led to a judge’s decision on the matter.

In the meantime, the Missouri Senate Interim Committee on Medicaid Accountability and Taxpayer Protection continues to meet. The panel plans its fourth hearing for Thursday, October 7, 2021
